
Bo grew up in China during the cultural revolution, attending a martial arts boarding school from the age of 8. Following a four year degree course specialising in the teaching of the Chinese martial arts, she went to Beijing to deepen her study of Tai Chi and Qi Gong. She had individual training from some of the masters responsible for well known forms including Li Tian Ji, who designed the 24, 48, 66, 88 Tai Chi forms and the 32 Tai Chi Sword form. Also Kan Gui Xiang at The Peking Physical Education Institute, who formed the 36 Chen Style Tai Chi Quan.
Bo has lived and taught in England since 1987. She has given many seminars and demonstrations around the country. She trained in Traditional Acupuncture both in China & UK and gained B. Sc. (Hons) in Acupuncture at the University of Westminster, London. She is also a member of the British Acupuncture Council. In 2007, she completed an honours degree in Law. She works in Norwich, Norfolk where she lives with her family.
